Adidas Superstar II

Adidas came to Active Athlete (one of the oldest privatively owned sneaker shops in Houston) to design a Houston centric colorway for their Superstar silhouette. They were creating a line of shoes based off of a hand full of major markets. The Houston theme was thoroughly explored but at the end of the day we settled on a cookout theme which in turn evolved to a Houston rodeo theme.

Original Theme

The neighborhood cookout stands as a flavorful tapestry of our community, where the sizzle of the grill and the blend of aromas forge a shared culinary heritage that defines us. It’s where recipes and laughter are exchanged freely, cementing our communal identity with every burger flipped and every cob of corn passed from hand to hand.
